Sylvester Jr., Cailor Named To BCA Board
Joseph Sylvester Jr. and Trent Cailor have been named to the Board of Directors of the Boardman Civic Association. Sylvester Jr. is chief executive officer of the Joseph Sylvester Construction Co., a family-owned business that is in its 49th year as a design/build contractor. The firm has expanded into cabinet and contract furniture divisions. Sylvester is also a member of the Home Builders Association, Boardman Township Site Plan Review Committee and Planning Commission of Mahoning County. Cailor is vice-president of Cailor-Flemming & Associates, an insurance firm that dates back to 1918. Cailor is a member of the Penguin Club and Youngstown Club. Other members of the civic association board of directors are Dan Slagle, president; Jim Ellashek, vice-president; Robert Wright, secretary; Darren Crivelli, treasurer; and Marty Bushey, Boardman Trustee Thomas Costello, Richard Dowell, Ken Goldsboro, Boardman Trustee Elaine Mancini, Carol Potter, Curt Seditz, and Bob Wagner. The Civic Association’s next meeting will be Monday, Mar. 21 when building and community service awards will be handed out.
