Shepherd Self Storage helps the Valley Cruzers Car Club donate $3,000 to two local foundations

BOARDMAN —The Valley Cruzers car cruises held at Shepherd Self Storage of Boardman, and support from the Youngstown Sports Grill and other sponsors, presented checks of $1,500.00 each to the Touched by Nathan Foundation and the Youngstown Foundation "Operation Search and Help" during a dinner on December 1st, 2009. Club President Tom Eaton, Vice President Santo Reda and Treasurer Jerry Kolesar presented the checks to Melanie Yannitto for the Nathan Foundation and Mary Ann Schaper for the Youngstown Foundation.

The money the car club raised this year was made possible with the sponsors and the weekly cruisers drive in from around the area and from neighboring states. Since the start of the club 10 years ago, the members along with the help of their spouses, has donated over $50,000.00 to area charities.
